#2087. Snow-white Art Nouveau Facade: Corner Building with Filigree Decorations

Before us is an expressive corner building in the Art Nouveau style, possibly with elements of Catalan Modernism, considering the sign "LLOGUER" (which means "rent" in Catalan). This three-story building with a snow-white facade is adorned with exquisite decorative burgundy ornaments, particularly noticeable on the gables and under the cornices.

The facade of the building features an asymmetrical composition with semi-circular balconies characteristic of Art Nouveau, creating flowing lines on the corner part of the house. The wrought iron balcony railings with delicate patterns give the building elegance and lightness. A distinctive feature of the facade is the decorative elements above the windows and doors — intricate ornamental decorations, apparently executed in the sgraffito technique.

The window openings are framed with dark wooden shutters, creating a pleasant contrast with the white plaster walls. The roof has a triangular gable with decorative details that enhance the overall aesthetics of the building. The base of the house is designed as a plinth with small square decorative inserts in red.

The building is skillfully integrated into the corner space of the urban environment, neighboring more modern brick structures. Its restored appearance and impeccable condition speak to the careful attention paid to the architectural heritage of the city.
