Neo-Gothic façade with twin pointed windows and geometric stained glass

#2049. Neo-Gothic façade with twin pointed windows and geometric stained glass

The image showcases a magnificent example of neo-Gothic architecture — two adjacent lancet windows with exquisite stone ornamentation. The façade is crafted from light-colored stone with the intricate tracery characteristic of Gothic style. Each window is framed by slender columns with capitals supporting pointed arches.

Particularly striking is the stained glass filling — a complex geometric pattern of blue, light blue, and dark diamond-shaped elements forming a diagonal ornament. The upper section of the windows is crowned with trefoils and quatrefoils — typical elements of Gothic architecture. Decorative finials with trilobed embellishments are positioned above the main arches.

The filigree stone carving creates an effect of lightness and airiness in the structure, despite the solidity of the material. Barely noticeable initials or monograms are integrated into the stained glass pattern, emphasizing the historical and cultural significance of the building. At the base of one of the windows, a small evergreen plant is visible, highlighting the contrast between the severity of architectural forms and living nature.
