This exceptional example of facade design showcases a magnificent specimen of Art Nouveau style. The doorway is framed by a luxurious decorative element in the form of an asymmetrical frame in creamy yellow with elegant botanical motifs in pale green tones. Particularly noteworthy is the sculptural stucco depicting stylized plant forms – flowing curves of stems, leaves, and flowers, characteristic of the early 20th century Art Nouveau aesthetic.
The central element of the composition is a double wooden door with stained glass. The stained glass is executed in the Tiffany technique using colored glass – predominantly blue, green, and orange, forming a floral pattern with central flower motifs. The symmetrical pattern of the stained glass harmoniously combines with the asymmetrical frame, creating a tension between strictness and freedom of forms that is characteristic of Art Nouveau.
The upper part of the frame is adorned with three sculptural flowers, while the lower corners are decorated with floral compositions featuring dimensional elements. The entire composition represents a holistic work of architectural and decorative art, where each detail is subordinated to the overall artistic concept, and the boundary between architecture and decorative art is deliberately blurred, which is the quintessence of the Art Nouveau philosophy.
