#19633. Modern facade with contrasting combination of metal and wood

This modern residential building showcases a masterful combination of various facade materials and textures. The upper part is clad with silver-gray corrugated metal sheets featuring a vertical pattern, giving the structure lightness and visually increasing its height. The lower level of the facade is finished in dark gray with vertical wooden inserts in a warm honey shade, creating a pleasant contrast and rhythmic structure.

Special attention is drawn to the asymmetrical pitched roof, which not only serves as a functional element but also gives the building a dynamic, contemporary look. The large panoramic window on the second floor with its protruding canopy becomes an accent element of the composition, providing abundant natural light to the interior spaces.

The architect skillfully integrated a horizontal window on the first floor, framed by wooden elements, creating an interesting interplay of geometric shapes. The entrance area is highlighted with vertical wooden slats that not only serve a decorative function but can also provide privacy.

The landscaping in front of the house, using low-growing plants and a winding stone path, organically complements the facade design, softening the building's strict lines and creating a harmonious transition to the surrounding environment.

In your own project, you can adopt several techniques: combining different facade materials (metal, wood, panels), using contrasting colors to highlight architectural elements, applying vertical wooden slats for zoning and creating plays of light and shadow, as well as designing non-standard window openings that become not just functional elements but key accents of the entire composition.
