Exquisite Decorative Facade: Historic Door with Lion Mascaron

#1929. Exquisite Decorative Facade: Historic Door with Lion Mascaron

The image showcases a magnificent double-leaf entrance portal executed in an eclectic style with elements of Art Nouveau and Classicism. The door is painted in a noble brownish-pink color, creating a pleasing contrast with the white stone facade of the building.

The architectural framing of the portal is richly decorated. Above the door sits a massive archivolt with a central decorative mascaron in the form of a lion's head. The doorway is flanked by elegant pilasters with floral ornaments, demonstrating masterful stone carving craftsmanship. The upper part of the portal is adorned with skillful carvings featuring geometric and plant motifs.

The door itself has three tiers of decorative elements: an upper section with stained glass inserts, adorned with elegant metalwork patterns; a middle section with classical panels; and a lower part with decorative square panels featuring brass ring handles and geometric designs. The preservation of historical details testifies to the high level of restoration work.
