#1763. Art Nouveau Botanical Ornament: Stylized Sunflowers and Acanthus Scrolls on the Facade

This fragment of architectural decoration represents an exquisite example of stucco ornament characteristic of the Art Nouveau period or late Historicism. We are presented with an elegant composition consisting of repeating botanical motifs – stylized sunflowers in the upper row and wavelike scrolls with acanthus leaves in the lower row.
