Art Deco Facade with Turquoise Doors and Brick Masonry

#16239. Art Deco Facade with Turquoise Doors and Brick Masonry

Before us is a remarkable example of architecture in the Art Deco style with elements of modernism. The building facade is made of high-quality dark red brick, creating a strict yet expressive background. The upper part of the composition is marked by three rows of windows with white frames divided into small sections, which is a characteristic technique for public buildings of the early 20th century.

The entrance group deserves special attention. The central entrance is framed by light stone elements with decorative carvings. Above the entrance is the building's name, executed in a stylized metal sign. The door itself is a true work of art — bright turquoise with a geometric pattern of wrought metal in the shape of a triangle descending from top to bottom. This contrasting accent stands out effectively against the brick masonry.

The facade demonstrates a thoughtful combination of decorative and functional elements: cornices between floors, decorative pilasters on either side of the entrance, and carefully crafted sculptural details. In private construction, such an approach can be adapted by using contrasting colors to accentuate the entrance area, applying decorative elements from various materials, and creating an expressive rhythm through window openings.

Facade project for your house.
