Eclectic Brick Facade: Between Neo-Gothic and Modernism

#1565. Eclectic Brick Facade: Between Neo-Gothic and Modernism

This remarkable building showcases an interesting combination of architectural styles, creating an eclectic and memorable appearance. The main structure is built of red brick and stone, giving the building solidity and character. The dominant element is a bell tower with a pointed spire, designed in neo-Gothic style with characteristic arched openings and decorative elements.

The facade of the building presents a combination of materials – the lower part is lined with natural stone, creating a textural contrast with the brickwork of the upper parts. Particularly notable is the yellow fragment with a porch, adorned with a geometric ornamental canopy, which introduces an unexpected Eastern motif into the overall composition. The stepped gables of the lateral sections and decorative brick patterns give the building features of Catalan modernism, possibly inspired by Gaudí's works.

Architectural details include a round balcony with a balustrade under the tower, various window openings – from classic rectangular to arched ones with colored shutters, as well as decorative brick projections and patterns, creating a play of light and shadow on the facade. The surrounding landscape with neatly trimmed shrubs and trees organically complements the architectural composition, emphasizing its uniqueness and artistic value.
