Miniature Castle: Neo-Gothic Facade with Tower and Crenellated Parapet

#15198. Miniature Castle: Neo-Gothic Facade with Tower and Crenellated Parapet

This remarkable structure represents a miniature castle executed in a Neo-Gothic style with eclectic elements. The facade is painted in an elegant cream color that highlights its architectural details. The dominant feature is a round tower with a crenellated parapet located in the center of the composition. Its cylindrical form creates an interesting contrast with the rectangular main volume of the building.

The facade is richly decorated: round porthole windows, tall arched windows with dark frames, and an elegant wrought iron balustrade on the second-floor balcony. The perimeter of the roof also features a crenellated parapet, characteristic of fortress architecture, which gives the building a romantic medieval appearance. The entrance group is interestingly designed with symmetrical arched doors framed by decorative elements.

The property is enclosed by a simple metal fence with an open pattern that doesn't hide the facade but allows it to be fully revealed to the admiring glances of passersby. This architectural whimsy demonstrates how historical styles can be utilized in modern private construction.

In personal home construction, similar techniques can be adapted in a more restrained form: the use of contrasting volumes, decorative parapets, arched windows, and decorative circular elements can give uniqueness to the facade of even a typical house. It's important to maintain stylistic unity of details and not overload the composition with excessive decoration.

We develop projects of facdes for private houses.
