Elegant Art Nouveau façade with ceramic decoration and triple-arched composition

#1420. Elegant Art Nouveau façade with ceramic decoration and triple-arched composition

Before us is an elegant example of early 20th century modernist architecture with elements of Catalan Art Nouveau. The façade demonstrates characteristic features of the Art Nouveau style, expressed through flowing, organic lines and decorative elements.

The building is adorned with creamy-yellow stucco contrasted by terracotta brick elements that create an expressive framing. The central element of the façade is a projecting bay window with a balcony supported by four elegant columns with decorative capitals. Above the balcony is a characteristic Art Nouveau triple-arched composition, crowned with a pediment featuring floral ceramic inserts.

Special expressiveness is added to the façade by decorative floral motifs made of colored ceramics in blue-turquoise and terracotta palette. These are positioned both on the roof parapet and in the lower part of the façade, creating a harmonious framing. The wide arched window with an elegant brick frame adds lightness and elegance to the building.

Small architectural details, such as brackets under the roof, geometric inserts, and the relief frieze under the balcony, testify to the architect's attention to each element of the composition. The electric wire crossing the façade diagonally represents a modern intrusion into the building's historical aesthetics.
