Art Deco Facade with Green Accents and Stepped Composition

#14166. Art Deco Facade with Green Accents and Stepped Composition

The building presented showcases a striking example of Art Deco architecture with modernist elements. The facade features a characteristic symmetrical composition with a stepped silhouette that creates an expressive geometric rhythm. The snow-white walls of the building contrast with the rich green color of the doors and window frames, giving the structure a memorable and distinctive appearance.

Of particular note is the entrance group, where the double door is designed in bright green with a geometric stained glass pattern typical of the 1920-30s aesthetic. On either side of the entrance are symmetrically positioned narrow vertical windows with green framing, which emphasize the vertical lines of the facade design. The upper floor of the building is adorned with a colored stained glass window that harmoniously echoes the overall color scheme.

The stepped composition of the upper part of the facade creates a dynamic silhouette characteristic of the Art Deco style. This solution is not only aesthetically appealing but also gives the building an individual character. The black base of the building visually "grounds" the structure, creating a solid foundation for the white walls.

For a modern private home, similar techniques can be interestingly reinterpreted: using contrasting color combinations to accentuate architectural elements, applying geometric stained glass in the design of doors and windows, and creating a stepped composition to add dynamics to the facade. Such solutions will create an expressive and individual appearance for a residential house while avoiding stylistic overload.
