Modern facade with dynamic geometry and panoramic glazing

#13636. Modern facade with dynamic geometry and panoramic glazing

This residence exemplifies contemporary architecture where geometric forms play a pivotal role in creating an expressive building facade. Particularly striking is the characteristic triangular projection on the second floor with panoramic glazing framed by turquoise elements, creating an interesting contrast with the pristine white concrete surfaces.

The facade demonstrates a bold interplay of volumes and planes. The minimalist white finish serves as an ideal backdrop for highlighting structural elements, while the large glass surfaces provide abundant natural lighting to interior spaces and create a visual connection with the surrounding environment. An interesting facade solution is the use of projecting elements not only as decorative features but also functional ones, creating shade and protection from direct sunlight.

The lower level of the house is partially recessed, with garage space and an entrance area framed by greenery in terracotta pots, adding an organic quality to the building's strict geometry. This technique of softening architectural lines with plants is worth noting when designing your own home — the contrast between the geometric rigor of the facade and the free-form nature of plants creates an interesting visual effect.

When creating a similar facade for a private residence, it's worth paying attention to the ratio of solid and transparent surfaces, playing with protruding volumes, and using contrasting materials or color accents to highlight key elements. Modern technologies allow for successful combination of aesthetic qualities with energy efficiency, which is especially important when designing houses with large glazed areas.
