Eclectic Facade with Neoclassical Elements and Mint Shutters

#1358. Eclectic Facade with Neoclassical Elements and Mint Shutters

This fragment of the facade is a magnificent example of eclectic architecture with elements of neoclassicism and Art Nouveau. We see a part of a building with an elegant balcony, executed in light, creamy wall tones, which creates a refined and elegant appearance.

The rich decorative relief of the upper part of the facade deserves special attention. Here one can observe a complex composition of pilasters with detailed capitals, geometric star-shaped ornaments, and exquisite stucco work. The cornices are adorned with modillions and dentil elements, giving the entire composition rhythm and depth.

The central element of the composition is a small balcony with wrought iron railings in a dark blue shade, creating an expressive contrast with the main tone of the facade. Behind it are mint-green wooden shutters, adding a color accent to the entire composition. The arched framing of the window opening gently emphasizes the vertical composition of the facade.

The entire architectural composition demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, characteristic of the turn of the 19th-20th centuries, when special emphasis was placed on the decorative design of urban buildings, highlighting the status of owners and aesthetic preferences of the era.
