Modular Brick Facade with Arched Elements

#12560. Modular Brick Facade with Arched Elements

The facade presented in the image demonstrates a modern interpretation of traditional brick architecture. The building's composition is built on a repeating rhythm of vertical elements separated by protruding volumes. The upper part of the facade is decorated with characteristic crenellations, creating a visual dynamic of the building's silhouette against the clear blue sky.

The main element of the ground floor is the series of arched openings, which form an expressive row of entrance areas. These semicircular arches create an interesting contrast with the geometric rigor of the upper floors. The use of sand-beige brick gives the building warmth and tactility, while the play of light and shadow in the arched niches adds volume and depth to the facade.

The window openings on the upper floors are organized in a clear grid, emphasizing the modularity of the composition. However, some windows have varying widths, which breaks up monotony and adds individuality to the facade. Wooden elements in the lower part of the building (railings, barriers) provide a pleasant material contrast with the dominant brick.

In your own project, you could borrow several techniques: using arched elements to create rhythm, applying high-quality facing brick as a self-sufficient material without additional finishing, combining rectilinear and curvilinear forms to achieve balance, as well as a thoughtful approach to the size and placement of window openings to form a cohesive facade composition.
