A Modern Forest Duet: before us is an example of expressive contemporary architecture organically integrated into an autumn forest landscape. Two symmetrical structures with characteristic gabled roofs are connected by a central passage with a steel staircase, creating an interesting composition of two volumes.
The facades are executed in a minimalist style using vertical dark-toned wooden cladding, allowing the buildings to harmoniously blend with the surrounding nature. The contrast between the dark wood and large glass surfaces gives the composition dynamism. Particularly expressive are the front facades with continuous glazing from the foundation to the ridge of the roof, creating a transparency effect and visually lightening the massive forms.
The metal roofing with its clear silhouette and industrial character adds modernity to the overall image. The geometry of the roofs is emphasized by minimalist chimneys, which become accent vertical elements in the composition. An interesting technical solution is the placement of buildings on a slope – the use of tall supports and terraces allows for preserving the natural relief of the site.
In your own project, you could adopt several techniques: contrasting combination of natural materials (wood and glass), use of large glazed surfaces to connect with nature, application of vertical cladding to visually elongate the facade, as well as harmonious combination of modern architectural forms with natural surroundings.
