Eclectic façade with semi-circular arch: synthesis of Art Nouveau and Moorish motifs

#1138. Eclectic façade with semi-circular arch: synthesis of Art Nouveau and Moorish motifs

The image showcases an expressive fragment of a building façade executed in an eclectic style with elements of Art Nouveau and Neo-Moorish architecture. The façade demonstrates an interesting combination of materials and decorative elements.

The lower part of the building is constructed from red brick and formed into a semi-circular arch, within which three tall windows with reddish-brown wooden frames are positioned. Above these windows are decorative triangular elements in yellow, creating a rhythmic pattern. The window openings are completed with small wrought iron balconies featuring elegant ornaments.

The upper tier of the façade is finished in light tones with exquisite ornamental motifs on the sides. Two classical columns with capitals flank the windows of the upper floor. Also noteworthy is the green decorative tile with stylized plant ornament placed in the center of the arch and on the corner elements.

The overall composition of the building combines the rigor of geometric forms with romantic decorativeness characteristic of architecture from the turn of the 19th-20th centuries. The color palette, built on the contrast between warm terracotta shades and white, emphasizes the architectural details and creates a memorable image.
