This architectural structure represents a modern interpretation of a rural house, situated on an elevation with a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. The facade of the building is characterized by a minimalist and elegant design, combining traditional and contemporary elements.
The main volume of the house features a gabled roof — a classic form for countryside architecture but reimagined in a modern context. The vertical light gray siding creates a rhythmic visual effect and emphasizes the verticality of the composition. The central accent of the facade is a massive white chimney that cuts through the roof and creates an expressive contrast with the main volume of the building.
A distinctive feature of the facade is the large sliding glass doors that provide visual permeability and connect the interior space with the landscape. Above the entrance areas are minimalist canopies that add depth and texture to the facade. On the right, an outdoor fireplace is also visible, executed in the same aesthetic as the main chimney.
In designing your own home, several techniques from this project could be adopted: the use of contrasting materials (light vertical siding with white structural elements), transforming functional elements like chimneys into architectural accents, creating clear symmetry in the facade for a balanced composition, and integrating large glazed openings to establish a visual connection with the surrounding nature.
