Exquisite Art Deco Façade with Symmetrical Fleur-de-lis and Geometric Frieze

#1074. Exquisite Art Deco Façade with Symmetrical Fleur-de-lis and Geometric Frieze

Before us is an expressive fragment of an Art Deco façade, demonstrating geometric and decorative elements characteristic of this architectural style. The façade is made of light gray stone slabs, which create an ordered structural base.

Particular attention is drawn to symmetrically arranged decorative panels on both sides of the composition. Each panel includes three vertically arranged stylized fleur-de-lis (lilies) with elements in turquoise and terracotta colors. These ornamental motifs, executed in relief, give the façade an exquisite and monumental character.

The central part of the composition is adorned with a decorative frieze featuring geometric patterns, including X-shaped motifs in golden color with turquoise accents. At the center of the frieze is an expressive element in the form of a stylized plant motif or fan, typical of Art Deco, also in a gold-turquoise palette.

Vertical pilasters with clear linear ribs frame the decorative panels, emphasizing architectural rhythm and enhancing the impression of verticality. The lower part of the façade includes window openings with traditional division into sections, creating a contrast between the decorative richness of the upper part and the functional simplicity of the lower.

The overall condition of the façade indicates its historical value – visible traces of time lend authenticity to this architectural element, likely dating back to the 1920s-30s of the 20th century.
