Art Deco Facade with Decorative Equestrian Panel

#1071. Art Deco Facade with Decorative Equestrian Panel

The image showcases an expressive architectural fragment of a building facade made of light limestone or sandstone. Particular attention is drawn to the decorative terracotta panel positioned in the central part of the facade between rows of stone masonry.

The artistic panel presents a bas-relief featuring three stylized horse heads in a golden hue, skillfully integrated into an ornamental composition. Between them are vertical elements resembling columns or stylized leaves in silvery-blue tones. The entire composition is enriched with undulating plant motifs in greenish shades and geometric rosettes in terracotta color.

Above the panel, five square decorative inserts with embossed floral patterns are embedded in the stonework, adding additional rhythm to the facade composition. The lower part of the building is fitted with ventilation grilles and a window opening.

The architectural solution combines the monumentality of stone masonry with exquisite art deco ornamentation, creating an interesting contrast between the structural simplicity of the facade and the artistic expressiveness of the decorative panel. The color palette of the bas-relief—golden, terracotta, green and bluish—harmoniously contrasts with the neutral beige tone of the stonework.
