Extended the palette of colors allowed for painting facades of St. Petersburg. Brighter shades added
The Committee on Town Planning and Architecture of St. Petersburg has expanded the palette for painting facades that was approved more than 50 years ago. To the 40 colors of the Leningrad palette of 1966 there were added 74 more colors. Such parameters as saturation, lightness, brightness, tonality were taken into account.
The committee recommends the use of this color database when repairing or reconstructing facades of buildings in the city for the purpose of forming a uniform architectural appearance.
