Modern Duplex with Contrasting Multi-material Facade

#9932. Modern Duplex with Contrasting Multi-material Facade

The presented building demonstrates a modern approach to duplex architecture with striking contrasting facade solutions. The structure consists of two symmetrical blocks with distinctive gabled roofs covered with gray metal panels. The upper level stands out with dark gray cladding, contrasting with the white walls of the middle floor and the brick masonry of the first level.

The facade skillfully combines various materials: metal, wood, and brick, creating a multi-layered textural composition. Wooden window framing elements on the upper level bring warmth to the overall color scheme, while large panoramic windows provide abundant natural light to the interior spaces. Between the two blocks, a small terrace with metal railings is organized on the second level.

The integration of landscape design is noteworthy: small wooden fences form the front yard, neatly decorated with low-growing plants and a paved pathway of slabs. This approach to facade design can be noted for one's own home — combining contrasting materials (brick, metal, wood) creates a dynamic visual effect, while clear horizontal zoning using different finishing materials helps visually structure the volume of the building, making it more harmonious.
