The presented structure is a magnificent example of traditional Russian wooden architecture in the "terem" style. The building demonstrates a wealth of decorative elements characteristic of Russian Art Nouveau with influences from folk architecture.
The facade of the house is made of green wooden logs and is adorned with exceptionally rich carvings. Particularly noteworthy are the window casings with patterned details and cross-shaped elements. The upper part of the building is crowned with a large two-tier roof with scale-like metal covering, creating the effect of "domes" in the Russian style. Such a roof is not only aesthetic but also functional — it handles precipitation well.
On the facade, special attention should be paid to the decorative balcony with carved railings and columns painted with traditional patterned ornaments. The corners of the building are emphasized by vertical wooden elements, which is a classic technique in Russian wooden architecture. Additional volume is created by a small extension on the left, which harmoniously fits into the overall composition.
In modern house construction, similar techniques can be adapted by using carved elements for window frames, adding decorative cornices, or using contrasting colors to highlight architectural details. Even a small application of such elements will give an ordinary house individuality and a connection to cultural heritage.
