#880. Decorative Art Nouveau Window Frame on Brick Facade

The image shows a magnificent window framing in Art Nouveau or eclectic style from the late 19th or early 20th century. The window is framed by an elaborate decorative casing made of light-colored stone or stucco, which effectively contrasts with the red brick masonry of the building's facade.

The upper part of the frame is crowned with a sculptural lion mask, which serves as the central element of the composition. On both sides of the mask, there are exquisite floral ornaments and scrolls in rococo style. The window framing itself has an asymmetrical, flowing form with fluid lines and floral motifs characteristic of Art Nouveau - stylized flowers and leaves are clearly visible here.

The window frame is made of dark brown wood and has a T-shaped construction with a horizontal crosspiece. The glass is transparent, through which vertical stripes can be seen, probably from curtains or blinds. The entire framing is harmoniously integrated into the brick facade, which combines red and light yellow bricks, creating an additional decorative effect.

This architectural element is a striking example of the decorative approach to window framing in urban architecture at the turn of the century, when great attention was paid to details and artistic expressiveness of facades.
