#8584. Minimalist facade with cantilevered overhang and panoramic glazing

This modern private residence showcases a striking example of minimalist architecture with a pronounced horizontal composition. The facade is rendered in white, creating an elegant contrast with the abundant glazing on the main front of the building. Particularly impressive is the combination of simple geometric forms — the sloped roof smoothly transitions into the clean rectangular volume of the first floor.

The key architectural technique here is the contrast between the enclosed upper level and the panoramic glazing of the lower level, creating the effect of a floating structure. The protruding cantilevered canopy over the terrace not only provides protection from the elements but also visually extends the boundaries of the interior space. The lower level is partially embedded into the terrain, which allowed the architect to organize a covered parking area organically integrated into the overall composition.

The facade design employs techniques that can be applied to one's own home: combination of white walls with large glass surfaces, minimal decorative elements, functional zoning of levels, use of cantilevers to create protected open spaces. An interesting solution is the integration of a wooden deck that becomes a natural extension of the interior space and a connecting element between the house and the well-maintained garden area.
