Country house with combined facade and panoramic glazing

#8532. Country house with combined facade and panoramic glazing

The presented country house demonstrates a harmonious combination of modern architectural approach with elements of natural style. The facade of the building features an expressive asymmetrical composition with a dynamic sloped roof, equipped with dormer windows and a chimney. The facade finish combines natural stone and light brick, giving the structure both solidity and visual lightness.

Particularly noteworthy is the spacious terrace with wooden decking and a wide staircase leading to the garden, creating a smooth transition between the interior space of the house and the surrounding landscape. The facade is open to nature thanks to panoramic glazing that occupies a significant portion of the wall, not only providing abundant natural light to the interior spaces but also visually expanding the living area.

The wooden supports of the canopy over the terrace complement the overall aesthetics of the building, adding an element of naturalness and warmth. The corner bay window with continuous glazing is a striking accent of the facade, expanding the view from the interior space and adding dynamism to the architectural composition.

This project illustrates several techniques that can be used when designing your own home: combining different finishing materials to create textural contrast; using large glazed surfaces to interact with the natural surroundings; organizing a smooth transition from the house to the landscape through a terrace; incorporating bay windows and panoramic windows to expand visual space and add architectural interest to the facade.

We redesign facades of cottages.
