Before us is a modern duplex in North American style, representing a symmetrical building with two identical residential sections. The facade is executed in a restrained color palette with a predominance of warm sandy-brown hue, which effectively contrasts with the dark brown or black trim elements.
The architectural composition of the building is based on the principle of symmetry – two absolutely identical parts with a mirror reflection of the layout. The facade of each section is decorated with two large square windows on each floor, framed by contrasting dark frames, which gives the building a sense of rigor and clarity of lines. The lower tier is faced with decorative stone mimicking slate masonry, creating an impression of solidity and visually reinforcing the structure.
Special attention is drawn to the small shed roofs over the entrance groups, supported by columns in the same stone finish as the building's foundation. This solution not only functionally protects the entrances from precipitation but also adds architectural interest to the facade. The roof has a modern geometry with two tall gable windows on the upper tier, providing natural lighting to the attic space.
The facade design uses the technique of contrasting combination of materials and colors: light walls, dark trim around windows and cornices, textured stone at the base. This approach can be applied when designing your own home, supplementing it with local accents in the form of wood or metal elements to add individuality. It's also important to note the practicality of such a solution – combining decorative plaster and stone increases the durability of the facade and simplifies its maintenance.
