Contrasting Modular Façade: Geometry in Greenery

#7629. Contrasting Modular Façade: Geometry in Greenery

Before us stands a striking example of contemporary residential architecture built on a complex terrain amidst lush greenery. The house presents itself as a multi-level composition of distinct geometric volumes that dramatically contrast with each other through a diversity of façade materials.

The building's façade demonstrates a masterful use of contrasting palette: gray panels of the main volume combine with warm wooden inserts, creating an expressive visual rhythm. Particularly noticeable are the cantilevered projections of the wooden volume that seemingly hover above the slope, adding dynamism to the entire composition.

Large panoramic windows provide abundant natural light and a visual connection with the surrounding landscape. The façade glazing is positioned asymmetrically, giving the building a contemporary, unconventional appearance. The central part of the façade is made of light gray stone or concrete, creating a tectonic foundation for the entire structure.

The lower level with a garage is integrated into the slope and supported by concrete retaining walls that form a terraced landscape. The landscaping is executed using low ornamental plants, which emphasizes the strict geometry of the house's architecture.

The combination of materials — panels, wood, glass, and concrete — creates a multi-layered, textured façade where each surface carries both functional and aesthetic significance, reflecting the principles of modern sustainable architecture.
