Neoclassical Portal with Emerald Door: Elegant Façade Accent in Red Brick

#760. Neoclassical Portal with Emerald Door: Elegant Façade Accent in Red Brick

This beautiful example of urban architecture showcases an exquisite classical door portal embedded in a red brick façade. The portal is executed in a neoclassical style with rich wooden carvings in a deep burgundy color, creating an expressive contrast with the surrounding brickwork.

Of particular value is the triangular pediment with detailed cornice and decorative dentils, installed over richly adorned door jambs. On both sides of the portal, exquisite carved elements in the form of acanthus leaves emphasize the vertical composition. The framing facade is complemented by a rhythmic row of circular openings that create an interesting play of light and shadow.

The door itself, number 13, is an elegant double-leaf panel in a deep emerald green color with panels and decorative brass handles. Above the door is a semicircular transom window with numbering. The entrance is complemented by stone steps and decorative cast-iron urns on both sides. Classical wall sconces, symmetrically placed on both sides, complete the composition, adding functionality and aesthetic value.

This façade element is a remarkable example of attention to detail in urban architecture, where even utilitarian elements are transformed into works of art.
