Classical Facade with a Burgundy Door: Elegance in Detail

#759. Classical Facade with a Burgundy Door: Elegance in Detail

The image showcases an elegant entrance portal of a classical building with a characteristic architectural composition. The central element is a luxurious double-leaf door in a rich red (burgundy) color, executed in a traditional style with four panels on each leaf. The door is adorned with brass hardware, including a door handle and a mail slot at the bottom.

The portal is framed by a graceful arched structure made of light-colored stone or stucco, creating a majestic contrast with the vibrant door. Classical white columns with capitals flank both sides of the door, supporting the architectural framing. Above the door is a semicircular transom with light horizontal slats, as well as a small window displaying the house number.

A simple staircase with black metal railings leads to the entrance. The architectural composition is complemented by symmetrically placed decorative planters with green plants, creating a picturesque accent and emphasizing the solemnity of the entrance group. The entire composition embodies classical principles of proportionality, symmetry, and refined detailing characteristic of Georgian or Federal architectural tradition.
