Modern Craftsman Facade: A Harmony of Wood and Stone

#7521. Modern Craftsman Facade: A Harmony of Wood and Stone

The presented architectural solution showcases an exquisite modern Craftsman-style house with elements of a mountain chalet. The facade is clad in cedar shingles of a warm copper hue, creating a rich textural surface that beautifully contrasts with the dark gray window frames and structural elements.

Particularly expressive is the combination of wooden cladding with natural stone masonry that forms the base of the house and support columns. This combination of materials gives the building solidity while simultaneously softening its visual perception. The two-story structure is characterized by thoughtful asymmetry, where the upper level is equipped with an elegant balcony with glass railings, which visually lightens the massiveness of the building.

The facade glazing is framed in dark frames, creating a distinct graphic accent against the terracotta cladding. Large windows and French doors provide not only abundant natural lighting to interior spaces but also a visual connection with the surrounding landscape. The wooden pergola to the left of the entrance adds a horizontal element to the composition, balancing the vertical structure of the main volume.

The pronounced sloped roof with modest overhangs reflects the mountain aesthetic, functionally adapted to climatic conditions. The architectural ensemble is completed by a thoughtful landscaping solution using native plants, organically integrating the building into its natural surroundings.

We develop facade projects for country houses.
