Eclectic Facade with Baroque Portal and Decorative Mascaron

#7420. Eclectic Facade with Baroque Portal and Decorative Mascaron

The image showcases a magnificent example of architecture displaying eclectic elements with predominant neoclassical motifs. The main accent of the composition is a richly decorated semi-circular door portal. The arch is framed by classical pilasters with elegant capitals that support an archivolt with voussoirs.

Particularly impressive is the stucco decoration crowning the arch - a massive keystone formed as a mascaron with a lion's head, surrounded by lush vegetative ornamentation. Above the entrance door is a semi-circular finish with a small round rosette window in the center, also adorned with stucco work.

The dark wooden double-leaf door with brass handles and protective railings creates an elegant contrast with the light tone of the facade. The upper part of the facade includes a balcony with wrought iron railings, supported by decorative consoles with floral ornaments. The rusticated masonry of the lower part of the facade adds solidity and textural variety to the building.

This architectural element is a vivid example of how decorative entrance design can significantly enhance the artistic value of the entire building, creating an expressive accent in the urban environment.
