#7399. Art Nouveau Façade with Decorative Arched Composition

The image depicts an exquisite architectural element - a decorative arched portal executed in Art Nouveau style with elements of classicism. The arch has a semicircular shape and is framed with masonry of dark, naturally weathered blocks that create a contrast with the lighter main material of the façade.

The decorative design of the arch deserves special attention. Along the inner contour, there is an elegant ornamental frieze with a floral motif - pink rosettes framed by green leaves. This element is probably executed in majolica or colored ceramic technique, which is characteristic of the Art Nouveau period of the late 19th - early 20th century.

Under the arch, there is a window or door filling with vertical decorative elements - two column-like pilasters with capitals supporting the upper part of the opening. The lower part of the opening is covered with brown shutters or blinds.

The composition is complemented by vegetation at the base - small ornamental shrubs, which gives the entire structure an organic connection with the surrounding environment, characteristic of the Art Nouveau philosophy with its aspiration for unity between architecture and nature.
