Elegant Neoclassical Townhouse Facade with Arched Window and Decorative Elements

#7238. Elegant Neoclassical Townhouse Facade with Arched Window and Decorative Elements

Before us stands an exquisite example of an urban townhouse executed in the neoclassical style characteristic of historic city architecture. The facade of building number 214 demonstrates an elegant balance between monumentality and detailing typical of late 19th to early 20th century architecture.

The central element of the composition is the striking arched window opening on the second floor, framed by a richly decorated portal with a pronounced architrave and emphasized keystone. Of particular note are the elegant Corinthian consoles with floral ornaments supporting the cornice above the window. Such decorative plasticity gives the facade expressive volume and creates an interesting play of light and shadow.

The entrance group is designed laconically — a black metal door with a protective grille and house number, illuminated by a small built-in light fixture. The color scheme of the facade is built on the contrast between the white main surface and the brownish-pink side part, which emphasizes the tectonics of the building and its architectural elements.

Special charm is added to the facade by well-organized landscaping: symmetrically placed black urns with bright flowers on the staircase parapets, a flower-decorated balcony under the arched window, and plant branches hanging from above. This not only softens the strictness of architectural forms but also brings life to the stone space of the urban environment.

We design facades of country houses.
