#715. Historic façade with carved wooden door and metal decoration

The photograph depicts a magnificent wooden door, an outstanding example of decorative craftsmanship in architecture. This double-leaf entrance door is made of dark wood with rich carving and ornamentation. The door is set within a stone façade of the building.

The architectural composition of the door includes several notable elements. The upper part is adorned with an elegant metal ornament featuring floral motifs, integrated into a wooden arch. The door leaves themselves are decorated with four large circular medallions - the two upper ones formed as concentric circles with decorative carvings, while the two lower ones are designed as arched elements with diamond-shaped inserts in the center.

The doorway is framed by square coffered panels with carved patterns, creating an exquisite border around the perimeter. The door is located at address number "8" as indicated on the building façade. Next to the door on the wall, there is a small information plaque, likely indicating the significance of the building or its affiliation.

This specimen of door artistry demonstrates a high level of craftsmanship typical of historic European architecture, where special attention was paid to details even in such utilitarian elements as doors.
