Neoclassical Mansion with Georgian Façade and Green Mansard Roof

#6749. Neoclassical Mansion with Georgian Façade and Green Mansard Roof

Before us stands an exquisite example of neoclassical architecture embodied in an elegant Georgian Revival mansion. The façade is constructed from light beige brick, giving the building a noble and substantial appearance. The two-story symmetrical structure is crowned with a distinctive green mansard roof featuring three dormer windows that provide a sense of completeness to the upper tier of the composition.

The central entrance is accentuated by a graceful portico with four Doric columns supporting a small second-floor balcony with classical balustrades. The symmetry of the façade is enhanced by the even distribution of arched windows on the first floor and rectangular windows on the second. Special expressiveness is added by the semi-circular arched windows on both sides of the central entrance, as well as the elegant semi-circular window above the main door.

On the second floor above the central entrance is an impressive window with an arched completion and decorative framing. The side portico with columns on the right wing of the building is executed in the same style as the central entrance, maintaining the architectural unity of the complex. The front façade is framed by well-maintained landscaping: neatly trimmed shrubs, blooming lavender, and a stone pathway leading to the grand entrance create a harmonious setting for this impressive architectural work.
