Majestic Castle Mansion: Neo-Gothic Red Sandstone Facade

#6735. Majestic Castle Mansion: Neo-Gothic Red Sandstone Facade

Before us stands an outstanding example of Victorian architecture with castle-style elements, likely built in the late 19th century. The building is constructed of reddish-brown sandstone, which gives it a monumental appearance and emphasizes its historical significance.

The mansion's facade showcases an asymmetrical composition with a striking octagonal tower crowned by crenellated parapets characteristic of the Neo-Gothic style. The tower, positioned on the right side of the building, is adorned with tall arched windows and decorative stone carvings. The central part of the facade is topped with a stepped gable featuring elegant ornamentation and an elongated arched window.

Particularly noteworthy is the expansive first-floor veranda with massive columns made of the same sandstone, supporting a wide terrace. An elegant staircase with balustrades leads to the entrance. Decorative elements of the facade include skillful stone carvings, various cornices and window sills, as well as an exquisite wrought iron railing on the second-floor balcony.

The surrounding landscape with flowering trees, including the striking jacaranda on the right, neatly trimmed hedges, and garden vegetation enhances the grandeur of this historic mansion, creating a harmonious architectural and natural ensemble.
