Majestic Tudor facade with combined stone, brick, and half-timbered finishing

#6722. Majestic Tudor facade with combined stone, brick, and half-timbered finishing

The presented building is an excellent example of English Tudor style with characteristic elements of half-timbered architecture. The facade features an expressive asymmetrical composition and a rich combination of materials. The lower part is faced with irregular natural stone masonry, creating a fundamental base for the structure, while the upper part demonstrates the traditional Tudor-style combination of light stucco and dark wooden elements, forming the characteristic half-timbered pattern.

The central part of the facade is accentuated by red brick masonry, which elegantly frames the main entrance with an arched portal. The roof consists of several slopes of different heights and proportions, adding picturesqueness and romantic character to the building. Red brick chimneys harmoniously complement the overall composition, giving the silhouette completeness.

The windows are diverse in size and design — from small dormer windows to large living room windows with multi-paned glazing characteristic of English architecture. Particularly noteworthy is the bay window with panoramic views in the right part of the facade, emphasized by brick framing. The basement level with a stone arch on the left adds dynamics to the composition and gives the building additional depth.

The landscaping with a neat lawn and small evergreen plantings along the facade delicately emphasizes the architectural merits of the building without distracting from its expressive appearance. The majestic trees in the background create a natural backdrop that highlights the historical connection between Tudor architecture and the natural environment.
