Neo-Gothic Victorian Mansion with Contrasting Lilac-Golden Facade

#6480. Neo-Gothic Victorian Mansion with Contrasting Lilac-Golden Facade

Before us stands a magnificent mansion in Victorian style, executed in an architectural direction close to Neo-Gothic with elements of the Second Empire. The building attracts attention with its pinkish-lilac facade with contrasting golden decorative elements.

The mansion features an asymmetrical composition with expressive turrets of varying heights and shapes. The tallest tower with a four-sided roof and an elegant spire dominates the composition, creating a vertical accent. The facade is richly decorated with arched windows, some having the typical pointed form of Neo-Gothic style, while others are designed in a classical arched manner.

The first floor is adorned with an open arcade gallery, creating an effective transition between the structure and the surrounding landscape. Balustrades on the balconies and along the gallery add refinement to the building. The skillful alternation of volumes deserves special attention, creating a play of light and shadow on the facade.

The multi-pitched roof with its complex configuration appears to be covered with slate tiles, typical for aristocratic buildings of that period. The second-floor windows are taller, visually enhancing the grandeur of the facade, while the golden frames create an effect of luxury characteristic of high society mansions from the late 19th century.

We redesign facades of cottages.
