Light Modernist Facade: Asymmetrical Geometry on a Natural Slope

#6401. Light Modernist Facade: Asymmetrical Geometry on a Natural Slope

The photograph showcases a contemporary residential house in the Northwest Modernism style, situated on a hillside. The architecture features a distinctive asymmetrical silhouette with a dynamic single-pitched roof, creating an expressive geometric volume.

The facade is executed in a restrained color palette of light gray tones with horizontal siding, which visually expands the building and emphasizes its connection to the landscape. There's an interesting combination of textures: elements of stone masonry on the side portion of the house add tactile expressiveness and connect the structure to the surrounding natural environment.

Glazing plays a significant role in the facade composition: large windows of varying formats and panoramic glazing in the upper part of the building create a play of light and ensure maximum interaction between interior spaces and external surroundings. Particularly notable are the corner windows, which enhance the dynamic quality of the architectural volume.

The terraced plot with a stone retaining wall organically integrates the building into the terrain. Newly planted trees and shrubs indicate the recent completion of construction and the beginning stages of landscape design development.

We design facades of country houses.
