Before us is a magnificent example of an exquisite architectural solution for a residential building's entrance portal, presumably from the early 20th century, executed in an eclectic style with elements of Art Nouveau and Neoclassicism. The facade is painted in a delicate cream tone, which emphasizes its elegant proportions and relief elements.
The compositional center is an impressive doorway, framed by a richly decorated portal with an arched completion. The massive double wooden doors in dark brown are crafted with special attention to detail — they feature a circular glazing in the central part and carved decorative elements in the lower section. Above the door is a semicircular transom window, allowing natural light to penetrate into the hallway.
Particularly noteworthy are the architectural details of the facade: on both sides of the entrance portal are decorative mascarons in the form of faces, artfully integrated into the overall composition and giving the facade expressiveness and theatricality. The upper part of the portal is crowned with a trefoil — a stylized window of Gothic form, which adds historical depth to the architectural solution.
A small staircase made of gray granite with metal railings of strict geometric form leads to the entrance. The building bears the number 12, marked on the facade to the left of the entrance. Hanging branches of a plant complement the composition, adding an organic element to the strict geometry of the facade, creating a harmonious contrast between man-made architecture and natural forms.
