Art Nouveau Green Door with Stained Glass Window on Brick Façade

#6084. Art Nouveau Green Door with Stained Glass Window on Brick Façade

This elegant entrance portal represents an exquisite example of Art Nouveau architecture. The green door with its characteristic semi-circular top is organically integrated into the brick façade, where alternating rows of light and reddish-brown bricks create a rhythmic decorative pattern.

Particularly noteworthy is the upper part of the door, adorned with a round stained glass window featuring an intricate metalwork ornament in the form of a floral pattern radiating from the center. The architectural framing of the doorway includes a richly decorated stone casing with sculptural elements at the top, lending monumentality and festivity to the entrance.

The door itself, painted in a pleasant green color, is divided into several sections with recessed panels. The four lower panels are decorated with square decorative elements featuring rosettes made of copper or terracotta material, creating an interesting color contrast. A ventilation grille in the upper part of the door is integrated into the overall design, preserving aesthetic integrity.

The building's plinth is faced with gray stone with a textured surface, providing a visual foundation for the entire composition. The entrance is slightly elevated above the level of the cobbled street, with a small stone threshold. To the right of the door, modern elements—an intercom and mailbox—are visible, delicately integrated into the historical structure.
