#5974. Art Nouveau Façade with Elegant Floral Ornament and Female Mascaron

Before us is a magnificent example of Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) façade, characteristic of the late 19th to early 20th century. The architectural composition is centered around an elegantly framed doorway with a semicircular window above it. The central decorative element is a stylized female mask (mascaron) located at the upper part of the frame.

The façade features the fluid and plastic lines typical of Art Nouveau. Asymmetrical plant motifs intertwine organically, creating a frame around the entrance. Curved lines and curls, reminiscent of plant stems, dynamically radiate from the central element, forming an intricate pattern. The framing is executed in a light, cream tone, which gives the composition lightness and airiness.

Special expressiveness is added to the façade by decorative elements in the form of stylized flowers, arranged symmetrically on both sides of the central axis. The window-door group has a classic rectangular division, creating an interesting contrast with the smooth lines of the decorative framing. The window glass reflects silhouettes of trees, enhancing the connection between architecture and nature – one of the key ideas of the Art Nouveau style.
