Decorative Art Nouveau facade with green bay window and blue floral ornament

#5805. Decorative Art Nouveau facade with green bay window and blue floral ornament

The image showcases an exquisite example of decorative architectural style, likely belonging to Secession or Art Nouveau with elements of folk motifs. The central feature of the composition is an elegant green bay window with a hexagonal shape, crafted from wood. This bay window has a textured finish on its lower part characteristic of Art Nouveau, and semicircular glazing in the upper section with decorative divisions.

The building's facade impresses with its decorative quality: the white wall is adorned with sophisticated blue floral ornaments executed in relief stucco technique. Particularly noteworthy are the symmetrical stylized floral motifs resembling peacock feathers, rendered in blue and light blue shades with golden accents. The arched outlines framing the bay window add grace and lightness to the composition.

On the right side of the facade, one can notice contrasting decorative elements in the form of terracotta or coral floral rosettes, creating a visual rhythm along the vertical line. Such combination of blue and terracotta palette is especially characteristic of early 20th century Art Nouveau architecture, where natural motifs received stylized expression in architectural decoration.
