#5664. Art Nouveau carved wooden door facade with floral motifs

The image showcases an exquisite example of a wooden carved door executed in the Art Nouveau style. The door features rich floral carvings on dark wood with a reddish hue, presumably mahogany or similar hardwood.

The central door panel is adorned with a symmetrical composition of botanical motifs: the upper part displays a stylized tree with spreading branches and flowers resembling daisies or asters. The lower section of the panel features skillful carvings of large flowers, resembling poppies or tulips, surrounded by elegant fern leaves.

The door has a characteristic Art Nouveau asymmetrical arched top. The side elements of the door portal are also decorated with plant ornaments that harmoniously complement the main composition. Brass hardware accentuates the sophistication of the entire structure.

This is an impressive example of decorative applied art from the early 20th century, when craftsmen sought to incorporate natural forms into architectural details, creating an organic unity of functionality and aesthetics.
