Victorian Brick Façade with Decorative Archway

#5660. Victorian Brick Façade with Decorative Archway

This exquisite façade represents a remarkable example of Victorian brick architecture with expressive decorative elements. The focal point of the composition is a richly adorned doorway framed by a massive semicircular arch made of hewn stone. The arch rests on decorative consoles with relief ornaments, giving the entrance monumentality and significance.

The substantial wooden door with number 18 features skilled carving and a geometric stained glass element in the center, typical of the late Victorian period. Above the door is tall glazing that provides natural light to the entrance space, as well as a decorative cornice characteristic of this style.

To the right of the main entrance is an oval window with decorative brick framing, which elegantly contrasts with the rectangular forms of the main façade. The upper part of the façade is adorned with rhythmic brick decoration with white elements, creating a distinctive frieze and adding visual interest to the façade.

The composition is complemented by a metal fence with characteristic wrought iron finials and neat vegetation that softens the strict geometry of the red brick façade. Together, they create a harmonious, elegant example of urban architecture that has preserved its historical character to this day.
