Art Nouveau Brick Façade with Stained Glass Windows and Decorative Metalwork

#4917. Art Nouveau Brick Façade with Stained Glass Windows and Decorative Metalwork

This image showcases an excellent example of Art Nouveau architecture. The façade is constructed of red brick, providing a warm, grounded background for the refined architectural elements. The most notable feature is the red wooden entrance door with the number 14, adorned with elegant metal decorative grilles in the characteristic Art Nouveau style with flowing, organic lines.

Above the door and display window are arched windows with magnificent stained glass, also executed in the Art Nouveau style with plant motifs. The stained glass demonstrates the curved lines and stylized botanical elements typical of this style, with leaf patterns being particularly prominent. The window and door framing is made of light-colored stone, creating a striking contrast with the brickwork.

The façade combines functionality and decorative appeal: the arched brick lintels above the windows showcase masonry craftsmanship, while the decorative lantern to the left of the door adds historical authenticity. In the right window, an information notice is visible along with a small flower pot on the windowsill, giving the façade an inhabited, lived-in character. The stone plinth at the lower part of the building provides a solid foundation and completes the composition.
