#4884. Art Nouveau Facade with Allegorical Sculptures and Decorative Portal

The image showcases an outstanding example of Art Nouveau architecture. The building's facade is adorned with luxurious decorative elements framing the entrance portal, which serves as the focal point of the composition. On both sides of the entrance door, there are sculptural figures crafted in light-colored stone, which are organically integrated into the architectural structure of the building.

The doorway is framed by an exquisite carved wooden door with copper or bronze decorative elements creating a geometric pattern. Above the entrance is a semi-circular window with radial divisions and a decorative cartouche in the form of spread eagle wings or another bird—a motif characteristic of early 20th century Art Nouveau aesthetics.

Particular attention is drawn to the combination of flowing, fluid forms of the sculptural elements with the more strict geometry of the door panel. The overall beige tone of the facade emphasizes the elegance of the composition, while the copper-brown accents of the door create a striking contrast. The house number 96, visible on the facade, indicates the urban location of this architectural monument.
