#4881. Elegant Art Nouveau Door Portal on a Brick Facade

Before us stands a magnificent example of Art Nouveau architecture. The entrance door is a meticulously crafted mahogany wooden piece with rich carvings. The door panel is adorned with a V-shaped pattern in the upper section featuring a central insert of ribbed glass. The lower part of the door is decorated with symmetrical carved elements displaying floral motifs typical of the Art Nouveau style.

The stone framing of the doorway draws special attention — a massive portal made of light-colored stone with an elegant arch at the top. The arch has the characteristic fluid, organic form of Art Nouveau with curved "eyebrows" above the upper part of the door. Above the main door is a semi-circular transom window that provides natural lighting to the entryway.

The building's facade is constructed of yellow brick, creating a warm contrast with the gray stone portal and the dark brown door. The door features a traditional brass mail slot, and to the right of the entrance is a decorative plaque with the house number "46". The entire ensemble represents a harmonious combination of functionality and aesthetics characteristic of architecture from the turn of the 19th-20th centuries.
