Elegant Art Nouveau Facade with Wrought Iron Door No.15

#4874. Elegant Art Nouveau Facade with Wrought Iron Door No.15

This facade represents an exquisite example of Art Nouveau style from the early 20th century. The central element of the composition is a magnificent double door, framed by an intricate wrought iron structure. Door number 15 stands out with its rich metallic decor featuring flowing, organic motifs and spiral elements characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement.

The upper part of the entrance portal deserves special attention with its semi-circular completion adorned with elaborate metal scrollwork forming a distinctive medallion. On both sides of the door are ribbed metal panels that create a rhythmic visual contrast with the curved lines of the decorative elements.

The lower part of the door is more austere, with geometric rectangular panels, creating an interesting transition from the exuberance of curvilinear forms in the upper section to the strictness of the base. The dark, almost black color of the metal finish contrasts with the light stone threshold, emphasizing the elegance of the wrought iron pattern. This architectural solution is typical of European urban architecture from the Art Nouveau period, where decorative aesthetics combine with functionality.
