Country estate with an expressive asymmetrical Shingle-style facade

#482. Country estate with an expressive asymmetrical Shingle-style facade

Before us stands an exquisite country residence that harmoniously combines elements of the Shingle style with neoclassical influences. The facade features an asymmetrical composition with pronounced vertical accents, created by the distinctive circular tower with its conical roof.

The architectural expressiveness of the facade is achieved through the complex roof configuration with multiple gables and dormer windows. Of particular note is the main entrance group, framed by an arched portal with Doric columns and a stone foundation, which serves as a unifying element for the entire exterior.

The facade materials present a traditional combination of wooden siding (shingles) in a light beige shade alongside natural stone used in the foundation and decorative elements. The window openings vary in form – from classic rectangular to semi-circular and stained glass, adding dynamism to the facade.

The circular tower with panoramic windows becomes the dominant feature of the entire composition, while its stone chimney is organically integrated into the overall silhouette. The carefully designed landscape surrounding, with its understated flowerbeds and young tree plantings, emphasizes the harmonious interaction between the architecture and its natural environment.
